The goal this week is to log 200 bike miles. I had to cut my ride short by 10 miles, but I will increase the mileage for the next three days to hit my goals.

Not that I minded cutting it short today — there were some serious winds out by the lake this morning. Legs felt fine with the two day rest. I will be interested to see how they hold up all week.

Had my first Ironman dream last night. There were some differences in the dream and the actual event. In my dream, it was a multiday event like the TdF and you had all three events each day. The dream was wicked cool because I went through all the scenarios for gut checks. I really thought the dream through this morning on my ride.

I am also mentally committed to training and racing in Lotoja next summer. That should be a ton of fun!
