What a great ride this morning. I drank entirely too much caffeine last night at the lake, and as a result I could not sleep very well last night. The combination of learning how to wake surf and no sleep really had me worried — the quads were really burned out from yesterday’s activities. I thought today’s ride would be really off. I set out with the goal to take another recovery ride but I kept pushing and the legs kept responding. I did want to go under 1:10, but the legs did not respond that well.
So I am trying to put some final touches on a couple of posts for this blog. I have gear reviews, some training advice for beginners, and some support for mechanical issues on your bike. I have the goal of posting one of these items each week, but the schedule I am on is really kicking my butt right now. So, I will try and get a couple of those resources up over the next couple of days to continue to build the value of this website. It will never be the comprehensive library that I see on other sites, but it will provide practical advice for beginner and intermediate triathletes alike. See you on the road!
