A Good Reminder

It is funny to see those people — especially triathletes — who spend way too much money getting their shoes tied either more quickly or more securely. I tie my shoes the old fashioned way because it is better on my feet. Every “speed tying” product I have tried results in shoes that are too loose and I without exception will develop blisters. Save you money people and just take 5 seconds and tie each of your shoes.

Here is an excellent video put together by Runner’s World that will help you understand how to tie your shoes. It sounds like an easy step and it is, but take a look and you will immediately be able to tell if you tie your correctly.
