Day II in Paradise

So I actually had to work today! Seriously. I conducted the training I had scheduled for the Maui Family YMCA  during a portion of the day. The Project Director, Jason is a great advocate for physical activity for kids and families in the area. The model that we are implementing through the YMCA to provide PE instruction to students is innovative and will make a huge different in the lives of a high number of students on the island.

But then on to the fun stuff. After we finished up today we came back to the hotel in Wailea and sit next to the pool for the entire afternoon. I got some great photos by the pool and of the sunset. That is all we did all afternoon. It was classic. Bruce and I discussed some business opportunities that we may look at during the next couple of years, but mostly we just read and relaxed. It was an epic day.

Tomorrow we are going over to Hana to hike and hit the beach again. This will be the last full day in Hawai’i. so we plan on taking advantage of it. I have a feeling I will get some fantastic pictures while we are out there. In the mean time, here some of the one’s I took today…

Great shot I took off of the west side of the hotel pool. I sat and watched this sunset from about 3:00 p.m. on.

Crazy close photo taken by my buddy Bruce.

Action Mike poolside…

Trying to look cool on a hot, hot day.

Last photo of the day…Mike trying to figure out why the old people are doing the Tai Chi…
