More on the TdF

Alright, I had to laugh about this article about Mark Cavendish — some anonymous French rider is calling him anti-French. You can read the entire article here. The article mentions Cav’s racist attitude in about the middle, so read the rest of the article.

My attitude on this is that it is almost comical. I think the French are anti-French. I think as a country they have a ton of pride and it stinks to get beat so bad by someone from across the Channel. All I can say is, “Harden Up Buttercup”. Cav’s response when the interviewer asked him for his advice to the other sprinters on how to beat him was, “Cross the line before me”. Classic.

My loyalty to American riders is no secret. On those lines, read this little nugget that was written by Tyler Farrar, the American sprinter on Garmin-Slipstream. The link is here. Tyler will get his stage win, either this year or in the future. He has a ton of natural talent and a great crew around him. Keep an eye out for him in the future.
