Poor Ride

So it was way too cold to ride outside this morning, so I jumped on my CycleOps Pro 300PT that I absolutely love. This is an indoor rig that is setup like my bikes I ride outside. The bike uses a PowerMeter, so there is no cheating on your effort. You are either pushing it or you are not. Usually I love it that is…

I think I lost a ton of my bike fitness over the last month. Running is great, but it does not translate into improving or even maintaining your fitness levels on the bike. So I had a crappy ride. I pushed through it for the mental training, but man I wish it would have gone better. I did intervals of 5 minutes each at 100 watts then 150 watts. I really didn’t get to a level of exertion that I would be proud of writing about here. Being in shape on the bike makes riding fun. Being out of shape on the bike makes riding horrible.

To distract you from my mediocrity, here is a picture of a monkey.
